Terms of Service – mAIagent

mAIagent is a personal, local desktop application operated by Tobias Strobel. It is not offered as a commercial or public product.

Acceptance

By authorizing the app to access your Google account (for example via the Gmail API), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not grant access.

Intended use

• The app is intended for personal use by the developer/owner on a machine they control.
• It may read and send email only with your consent and within the Google OAuth scopes you approve.
• You are responsible for how the app is configured (for example whitelist addresses) and for any messages it sends on your behalf.

No warranty

The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. Email delivery and third-party services (including Google) may fail or change without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including lost or misdirected email, data loss, or actions taken by a local AI agent based on your mail content.

Google API Services

Use of Google APIs is also subject to Google’s API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

These terms may be updated on this site. Continued authorization or use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
